Yes — professional hair and makeup is included in our women’s portrait, glamour, and boudoir sessions. Our beauty team specializes in camera-ready looks for mature skin and every skin tone. You show up as you are, and we take care of the rest.
What if I’ve never had a professional portrait done before?
Most of our clients haven’t. That’s completely normal — and it’s exactly what we’re here for. We guide every moment of your session from start to finish. You will never stand there wondering what to do. By the end, most clients say it was far easier and more enjoyable than they ever expected.
Do I need to bring my own clothing?
You’re welcome to bring pieces that feel meaningful to you, but our studio includes access to over 100 gowns, blazers, and statement pieces. During your pre-session consultation, we walk through every wardrobe detail so you arrive fully prepared with no last-minute stress.
How long does a portrait session take?
Most portrait sessions run 3–4 hours including hair, makeup, and the shoot itself. Family sessions are typically 1–2 hours. We move at your pace — this is not a rushed experience. We take the time to get it right.
Where is The BeVard Studio located?
We are located at 52 Bernard Street in Farmingdale, New York — centrally located in Nassau County and easily accessible from all of Long Island including Suffolk County, Queens, and New York City. We also offer on-location sessions across Long Island for family portraits.
How do I see my images after the session?
After your session, we schedule a private image reveal where we present your fully retouched images together. You choose your favorites in a relaxed, no-pressure setting. Many clients say the reveal is the most emotional part of the whole experience — in the best possible way.
Do you offer gift sessions?
Absolutely — portrait sessions make one of the most meaningful gifts you can give. We offer gift certificates for any of our portrait services.
