Bring one or two pairs of heels — nude and black are the most versatile. Even when your feet aren’t in the frame, heels change everything: your posture, the line of your legs, the way you carry your shoulders. If heels aren’t your thing, bring whatever footwear makes you stand taller. That’s the actual job of the shoe.
2. The right undergarments
A strapless bra or adhesive cups, nude and black underwear, and any shapewear you normally feel comfortable in. Seamless pieces work best under fitted gowns. We’ll tell you exactly what you need for the specific looks we’re planning — no guesswork, no surprises.
3. A pair of jeans and a casual top
This one surprises people. You’ll arrive in comfortable clothes for hair and makeup — and sometimes the most stunning frame of the whole session is the “casual” one: bare shoulders above denim, hair finished, expression completely unguarded. Simple works. Trust me on this.
4. Anything with meaning
A grandmother’s necklace. A leather jacket with a history. Your wedding ring, worn or held. You don’t need to bring personal pieces — but if something matters to you, bring it. The images that include them tend to become the ones women treasure most.

Whether you’re “photogenic.” I’ve photographed women in their 20s through their 70s — including dedicated sessions for women over 40 and women over 50 — and the single thing that determines how your images turn out is not any of those things.
